I'm writing this blog for those of you who have not had the blessing of experiencing a church family that loves each other and teaches and honors the Bible. Perhaps you are reading this because the Lord is tugging at your heart. His ways are simple and what He says to do works. This glorious day our table is set and ready for all whom the Lord is leading in.
Everything starts with sound doctrine from the Bible. God's word is alive and will change your life. I am so thankful the Lord has given me a husband who loves His Word. Teaching it is Dale's favorite thing to do.
Have you ever heard of the gift of service? These three women operate in this gift abundantly. What a blessing it is to be on the receiving end.
The women of the church brought dishes to compliment the main course. I was inspired to bring something I didn't think anyone else would. It's always a good feeling to bring home an empty dish.
There was such a variety of delicious food and desserts.
Please allow me to back track and share a few pics from our church time before the sit down, candlelight dinner began. The highlight was Ed sharing how he had come back to the Lord at the age of 83. I think we all had tears in our eyes as we listened to how the Lord led him here. Ed also has placed his membership at CLCC to labor with us.
What a blessing to have Daniel play hymns on his trumpet. Daniel travels the world playing professionally.
Glad the Turner family was here!
Wouldn't you love to be sitting in this cozy corner!
Posing with the turkeys!
Let the feasting begin!
Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Everything was SO delicious! Turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potoatos, and all the fixin's!...And now for some special pics of the fam...
Does this guy remind you of anyone? Just sayin'....
Surely the Lord was shining on us this day! Special honor goes to Ana who is the inspiration for this wonderful dinner. She works as unto the Lord. Also to Sylvia, Tamara, Ken, Richard, and Colleen who so generously gave of their time. You are such a blessing to us! What a GREAT dinner!
What a nice Blog, so glad you keep all these events online for us! We had such a GREAT time last night, it is truly a blessing to fellowship together!
